THANK YOU to all of our loyal guests who have made the experience of serving you so wonderful since we have opened, and who voted us “BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT” in the Bay Area for five years running. We are grateful for your patronage and support over the years, and have enjoyed serving you.
THANK YOU to our staff who have worked so hard over the years to provide excellent food and service. We are so very proud of what they have accomplished, and the wonderful experiences they have provided to our guests.
THANK YOU to our wonderful farmers, fisherman and purveyors for providing us with the finest ingredients available, so we could create such fresh, delicious cuisine.
WHY DID WE CLOSE? As a family operated business, we are extremely hands-on and passionate about the product that we serve you. But we can’t be everywhere at the same time, and we have made the choice to expand our other businesses, resulting in the need to close Osteria Coppa. Sam’s Chowder House is our largest enterprise and has become extremely popular in the Bay Area and beyond, and it’s time to focus our energy there.
We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you at our other restaurants. We hope we will see you again soon, at one of our Sam’s Chowder House locations, or at one of our Sam’s ChowderMobile stops. Thank you again for your patronage – we truly appreciate it!
